“Celebrate Nationals Opening Day with the Beloved Budweiser Clydesdales”

From a press release:

“Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev), Capital Eagle, and the Washington Nationals today announced the Budweiser Clydesdales will return to Washington, D.C., on Monday, April 1 to celebrate MLB Opening Day at Nationals Park.

Capital Eagle, a Washington, D.C.-based family-owned beer wholesaler affiliated with AB InBev, the world’s largest brewer, will host five samplings around Nationals Park on Opening Day. Fans of legal drinking age can try AB InBev products, including NÜTRL Vodka Seltzers, Cutwater canned cocktails, and Hoop Tea, an Ocean City, Maryland-based spiked tea company. In addition, the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales will kick off the Opening Day festivities with a parade around the Navy Yard.
“We once again welcome the start of MLB season and The Nationals Opening Day with an iconic scene of the Budweiser Clydesdales leading the parade through the Navy Yard” Capital Eagle President Neal Katcef said. “We love seeing our community come out to support the American tradition of baseball, great beer, and the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales.”

Inside the park, fans can stop by Cutwater’s pop-up experience to sample their award-winning canned cocktails. Hoop Tea will station a retro Volkswagen photo booth bus at the stadium for fans to take photos in and NÜTRL Vodka Seltzers will be sampled at three locations around the ballpark.
Festivities begin on April 1, 2024, at 1:15 p.m. with the Clydesdales and the Budweiser Hitch leading a parade that will end right outside Nationals Park. Fans can see National’s Mascot, Screech, at the parade riding the Budweiser Hitch. After the parade, Nationals Park’s gates will open at 2 PM for fans to get ready for the first Nationals home game of the season and visit AB InBev Interactive sites throughout the stadium.”

And thanks to Jeff for sending: “This is Clark Griffith’s tomb in Ft. Lincoln recently. He was the owner of the original Washington Senators.
Play Ball!”
