From an email:

“One of the National Cherry Blossom Festival’s signature events, the Blossom Kite Festival Presented by Amazon, will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024.

The event will feature a mass ascension of student-made kites from the Kites with KIPP program with Kite Master Mikio Toki, Japanese drumming performances, kite ballets, demonstrations by professional kite teams, adult and youth kite makers competitions, bol kite races, and rokkaku kite battles.

The Blossom Kite Festival is one of several events that are part of the National Cherry Blossom Festival, which spans four weeks to celebrate spring and the beauty of the cherry blossoms. The Festival will take place March 20 – April 14, 2024, throughout Washington, D.C., and around the region. The Blossom Kite Festival is presented by Amazon.

The event also takes place alongside Sakura Taiko Fest presented by Chase, produced by Washington, D.C.-based Japanese drumming group, Miyako Taiko. A talented lineup of taiko drumming performers from across North America will take the stage at the Sylvan Theatre from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. The performances will feature a variety of taiko styles as a celebration of Japanese-American cultural and artistic traditions.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
