“Dear PoPville,
I have an overdue missed connection from April 5th 2023 that I still think about so I figured it was worth a try.
I was sitting with my dog on a ledge in Kalorama Park around 430 pm when she got excited about another female dog named Simba and her owner walking by. I was wearing a bright red beanie.
We exchanged a few words about Kalorama Park since I just moved to the neighborhood and he hadn’t frequented this park but planned to do more so often now. He’s most recently from NY. He did longer for a bit but I didn’t get the courage at the time to inquire more about him.
I returned to that ledge quite often over the past year around that time to see if I would run into him again but haven’t.
If Simba the girl dog’s handsome dad is out there and available, I’d love to connect for a coffee or return to that Kalorama Park ledge for a dog meetup.”
