Selene is a beautiful two month old dilute calico. She has more brown coloring than her sister Phoebe, and is an elegant little lady. Selene LOVES humans — of all the kittens she is the most likely to come find her human for snuggles and pets. She’ll climb right into your lap or hop into bed for a cuddle and she just loves being picked up for kisses. She is a daring little creature too — she runs and jumps and climbs just as much as her siblings, of course when she’s not busy stealing affection from her human(s). Apply today to bring sweet and loving Selene home!

Nala is a delightful and affectionate young pup, brimming with love and playfulness. Her favorite pastime is snuggling, and she’s not afraid to nudge you for some belly rubs. She enjoys long walks and would make an excellent companion for an active owner, potentially even a running partner. While initially a bit shy around new people, she warms up quickly and loves making new canine friends. Nala is a bright girl who responds well to training, mastering commands like “sit,” “lay,” and “down” with ease. With a bit of patience and support, she’ll flourish into a confident and loving companion. If you’re ready to bring some warmth and joy into your life, consider making Nala a part of your family. Apply now to meet this sweetheart and experience the love and affection she has to offer!

We’re about a month out from summer. That means you’ve still got time for spring cleaning!

Lexi Grant, an operations manager at Well-Paid Maids, shared her go-to spring cleaning tips with WTOP News. Step one? Declutter. Get rid of items you don’t use, find space for items that need a home and organize those areas.

Then, it’s time to dust. Lexi starts with high-touch surface areas (think: refrigerator, dishwasher, counters, microwave). One area she sees often neglected is the bedroom — and it makes sense. Heavy furniture is difficult to move around, but it’s important to really get in there so dust doesn’t affect your sleep.
