Find the perfect gift for everyone this holiday season along the red line. On December 2, 9, and 13, four neighborhoods are hosting holiday markets and events, making it easy to shop local and indulge in holiday cheer.

Saturday, December 2

Start your day with Van Ness Main Street’s 8th Annual Holiday Market! Shop 30 of the area’s most creative makers, hear the Singing Capital Chorus & more. More details here.

Walk south of the Tenleytown station and discover URBNmarket, an artisan pop-event at City Ridge. Shop from over 50 carefully-curated local vendors on City Ridge’s historic Great Lawn. More details here.

From there, take the metro down to Cleveland Park for the Cleveland Park Holiday Market in the 3400 block of Connecticut Avenue NW. Browse and shop the market with over 20 local vendors! More details here.

Saturday, December 9

Hop off at the Friendship Heights station to visit Chevy Chase’s Spark! Art Fest and Small Business Party from 1-5 p.m. This festive day along Connecticut Avenue will feature a gingerbread house building station, caroling, and a meet-and-greet with Elsa. More details here.

Wednesday, December 13

Take a ride to the Tenleytown station and get all your last minute holiday shopping done at the Tenleytown Winter Holiday Market from 5-10 p.m. at East West Cafe. More details here.
