“The District Department of Energy and Environment hopes to see you on Kingman + Heritage Islands in two weeks for the third annual Kingman Island Friends & Family Day on Saturday, October 14th, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.!
Bring your dancing shoes because one of the most-renowned steelpan bands in the District, Panquility, will be performing this year! Whether you’re passionate about exploring the great outdoors, meeting new friends, or simply enjoying a fun day, this event has something for everyone.
There will be kayaking, fishing, yoga, nature walks, rock exploration, puppet shows, freshwater mussels, and even raptors! You will also have an opportunity to score a goal with Washington Spirit’s Anna Heilferty!
