“Fourth Trimester was designed as an answer to the pain points of parenthood in those first early days,” says Megan Francis, co-founder of Fourth Trimester Postnatal Retreat.
“As a healthcare provider and new mom myself, the support at Fourth Trimester is exactly what I, and my new family, wished for in my days after delivering. Between the unique, individualized experience at The Watergate Hotel, coupled with a wider, more accessible parenting community that supports you from conception through the first 12 weeks after giving birth, we have options and offerings for most every budget.”
Fourth Trimester Postnatal Retreat has also launched “4T at Home,” which includes à la carte service options such as registry set-up and product curation, newborn care courses, access to a dedicated network of trusted, local experts and more.
“Our goal is to go way beyond pampering parents at The Watergate Hotel,” says co-founder and father of four, Brent Boroff. “With ‘4T at Home’ we offer a more accessible option to provide families with the care and community you need to start your parenthood journey – all from the comfort of your own home.”
Fourth Trimester Postnatal Retreat offers various packages at The Watergate Hotel starting at $815.00 with a three-night minimum stay and “4T at Home” starting at $150 for virtual consultations.”

Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!
The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!
What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
