Viggo is incredibly sweet and loves gentle pets and curling up with human friends. Viggo has the cutest little meows and mews and is starting to really enjoy playing with little balls, especially those that jingle! He loves watching the world around him and looking out windows, and he gets along well with the resident cats in his foster home. Although a little shy with humans, Viggo has no fear with the Boston Terrier in his foster home! Viggo would do best in a quiet home with someone or a family who can give him lots of love and attention, but also be very gentle, calm, and patient with him as he gets used to a new home. He might spend a little time under the bed while he’s feeling out his new home, but the wait will be worth it!

Meet Sirius, the one-of-a-kind affectionate Aussie Shepherd mix who’s only 2 years old and weighs 40 lbs. With a heart full of energy and a spirit full of playfulness, don’t be fooled by his name – Sirius is anything but serious. His gentle and loyal nature is a magnet for both humans and furry friends. With endless enthusiasm, he’s up for any adventure, whether it’s a long walk, a snuffle mat challenge, or sharing a Kong-filled dinner. True to his breed, he’s the perfect blend of affection and energy, always ready for a snuggle session on the couch or a restful moment at your feet. Sirius is crate-trained and knows just when it’s time to unwind and cuddle up for the night. He’s making great progress on house training and shines both on and off the leash, whether strolling solo or mingling with other dogs. Ready for an unforgettable companion? Apply today and prepare to be charmed by Sirius’ vibrant personality!

We’re about a month out from summer. That means you’ve still got time for spring cleaning!

Lexi Grant, an operations manager at Well-Paid Maids, shared her go-to spring cleaning tips with WTOP News. Step one? Declutter. Get rid of items you don’t use, find space for items that need a home and organize those areas.

Then, it’s time to dust. Lexi starts with high-touch surface areas (think: refrigerator, dishwasher, counters, microwave). One area she sees often neglected is the bedroom — and it makes sense. Heavy furniture is difficult to move around, but it’s important to really get in there so dust doesn’t affect your sleep.
