Built in 2014, this home has a contemporary vibe, open floor plan and 4-level living with tons of “pluses”, including front-facing the green space courtyard (no cars or streets in front of your home) and deck accessible from the kitchen — great place for grilling! From the courtyard you are welcomed by a charming front porch, inviting foyer and double doors that lead to a light-filled home office/den with full window! Then notice the access to an expanded storage area in the attached one-car garage with epoxy flooring and dry wall. The glass door in the sun-filled kitchen offers access to the outdoor deck! Gleaming hardwood floors are on the main level and on the stairs to the upper BR level. All this offers an open concept with a wall of windows on the main level & recessed lights + a ceiling fan with light in the living room. The 3rd Level has a generous size Primary BR with large walk-in closet, luxurious en-suite Primary BA with seated shower and dual vanity, 2nd BR with en-suite BA plus, convenient stacked washer and dryer in hallway and view of grassy common area. The 4th Level with panoramic views overlooking D.C., has a 3rd BR with its own private BA + a Bonus Room/Loft — perfect for relaxing and fun times! Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!

The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!

What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
