“Metropolitan Washington Summer Restaurant Week Kicks Off Next Week”

Summer Restaurant Week, presented by Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW), returns as the biannual celebration of the region’s spirited restaurant industry from Monday, August 28, through Sunday, September 3. The area’s signature dining promotion invites everyone to close out summer with the return of one of the area’s most anticipated food-related celebrations, leading into exciting happenings like DC Jazz Fest and Labor Day Weekend.

Participating restaurants will offer multi-course brunch and lunch menus for $25 per person, and multi-course dinner menus for $40 or $55 per person for on-premises dining. Many restaurants will also offer cocktail, wine, and non-alcoholic pairings, including specialty options created with Topo Chico products at participating locations, giving diners wanting to partake in the program a variety of beverages to choose from.

A number of 2023 RAMMY Awards Winners and Honorees are participating in the promotional dining week including Circa at Foggy Bottom (Manager of the Year), Causa/Amazonia (New Restaurant of the Year), L’Ardente (Upscale Casual Restaurant of the Year), Pennyroyal Station (Casual Restaurant of the Year), Tiki on 18th/The Game Sports Pub (Favorite Gathering Place), Urban Roast (Best Brunch), Duke Zeibert Capital Achievement Award Winner RIS, and Honorary Milestone Award Winners Cafe Milano, Filomena Ristorante, Jaleo, and The Grill From Ipanema.

First-time participants include a selection of restaurants located at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and Washington Dulles International Airport, expanding the promotion to all that arrive and depart our region for summer travels, including American Tap Room (DCA), Bistro Atelier (IAD), Bracket Room (IAD), Carrabba’s (IAD), Chef Geoff’s (IAD), Devils Backbone (IAD), District ChopHouse (IAD), El Centro (DCA), Grille District (DCA), Kapnos Taverna (DCA), Legal Sea Foods (DCA), Matsutake Sushi (DCA), Reservoir (DCA), U Street Pub (DCA), The Washington Burgundy and Gold Club (IAD), and Washington Pour Bar (DCA).

Other first-time participants include Al Fresco Tap and Grill, Ambar Shaw, Astoria’s Kitchen, Boxcar Tavern, Caruso’s Grocery North Bethesda, Certo!, Code Red, Duke’s Grocery Navy Yard, Earl’s Kitchen + Bar, Easy Company, Ellie Bird, Fitzgerald’s, Joon, Josephine, Le Clou, Meli, Mi Vida Penn Quarter, Opal, Ophelia’s Fish House, Pearl Dive, Petite Cerise, Philippe Chow, Pinstripes, Pizza Serata, Playa Ocho Cantina, Provost, Thaiverse, Via Ghibellina, Whino, The Wine Kitchen Leesburg, and Yasmine.
