Riggs is the happiest and friendliest two year old pup! Since arriving in DC, he has showed no fear and loves to explore outside. Even though he’s pretty small, he has a big personality and is super confident. He’s friendly to all, but sometimes might get too excited and play a little too intensely for some dog friends. He’d be a great partner for an active person who likes hiking or running, and for someone with an existing dog! Apply to meet Riggs today!

Hannah might give you a sweet tooth because she is just sweeter than sugar! This young kitty with thick tiger-striped fur and adorable little paws will steal your heart. Hannah is a playful kitty who enjoys chasing rattle balls, jumping after wand toys, and batting around balls in circle towers. In the afternoons, Hannah likes to curl up near her humans for comfy naps and head scratches. What a cutie pie! At night, she likes to sleep at the foot of the bed, and she is very respectful about not waking up her humans in the morning. What a purrrfect cat! Hannah gets along well with her feline foster brother too. She is friendly with people and is desperate to find her forever home. You know your window is missing a cat! Apply today to meet Hannah!!

Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!

The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!

What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
