Great Garden Haul – “for the bees”

Thanks to Max for sending from Brightwood Park:

“It has been a good garden year for the bees – lots of bumble bees, honey bees, carder bees and other small solitary bees. Goldfinches every day enjoying the sunflowers and black eyed susans. Mockingbirds enjoying the tomatoes. :(. Woodpeckers enjoying sunflowers, which was surprising. Butterflies stopping by various blooms. I even saw a dragonfly swooping thru for about 10min today. Neighborhood cats seem to enjoy the cover.

Flowers > grass.”

Please send your great garden hauls via email to [email protected] with Garden Haul in the subject line and let me know what you’ve grown and what neighborhood you are in. Entries will be accepted now through Labor Day. Cheers, thanks and happy gardening!
