“Dear PoPville,
I, a 37 year old bald man with a full beard wearing a white short sleeve shirt, had a missed connection with a woman I met at Saturday night’s AJJ concert at the 9:30 club. She was about 5’6″ with brown hair wearing a black leather jacket.
We talked between Oceantor and AJJ’s set about how she’s seen AJJ twice before, and how she grew up in Philly but moved here around 10 years ago. We talked about The Mountain Goats, specifically Beat The Champ, and She’s going to see Yo La Tengo tomorrow [Sunday] also at 9:30. I was also with my cousin and we talked about how he almost got in a fight at a Paul McCartney concert. She left right before the last song. She was in my proximity all night which makes me feel like she was waiting for me to ask her for her number, and I, in hindsight, should have asked when I had the chance, but I didn’t want to interrupt the concertgoing experience. I’d love to take you out for a drink and talk about music for hours. Props for going to shows alone either way!”
