OSSE and DCHR are looking for dedicated, mission-driven candidates who are interested in working as tutors, site coordinators, and related roles for school year 2023-24 and beyond to help close opportunity gaps and accelerate learning for students in public schools across the District through high-impact tutoring (HIT).
High-impact tutoring (HIT) is a core part of the District’s recovery strategy and has expanded significantly since 2021 in schools and community-based settings as leaders learn more about the strong body of evidence for its effectiveness and how to integrate it into their programming.
HIT is a form of one-to-one or small group tutoring with a well-trained tutor that occurs multiple times a week and is designed to support students with what they are learning in their math and literacy classes.
Join OSSE and DCHRDC for an in-person recruitment and hiring fair on Tuesday, July 11 at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library, 901 G Street, NW.
Tutoring providers all over the District are hiring for over 200 positions.
Register until July 5 at https://dchr.dc.gov/joinourteam!
