Falkor is loving learning about the indoor life. Every day he learns to play with a new toy. He’s a medium energy fluff who would be fine as a solo cat but also good with a friendly cat friend. Falkor is happy to play with toys by himself or with a nice kitty friend. Falkor is a big fan of meal time and is extremely helpful in reminding you when it’s time to eat. Apply for Falkor today.

Need a little sunshine in your life? Max is your guy! He is quite possibly the happiest dog ever. Everything he does, he does with the biggest, goofiest, adorable smile on his face! Max is a super affectionate boy who loves nothing more than to be next to (or snuggled on top of) his human(s), and give you all the kisses in the world. Max’s foster family says he has been the best house guest since joining them. He really enjoys playing and being around his people as much as possible, but is also self-reliant enough that he can pick up his toy and tire himself out in a solo play session. Max also lovessss burning off some energy with some playtime with other dogs! He hasn’t met a pup he doesn’t want to be best friends with. Apply for Max today.

Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!

The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!

What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
