“Crispus Attucks Park Bloomingdale Community Day – May 20”

From an email:

Crispus Attucks Park is excited for the 20th annual Bloomingdale Community Day, the largest fundraiser for the Park!

We are excited by our over 10 restaurant partners for the Taste of Bloomingdale event including:

Little Pearl, Boundary Stone, Pho House DC, El Camino, DC City Smokehouse, Right Proper, to name just a few! Plus, an annual dog show, kids activities, music, yard sale, and over 25 craft and artisan vendors, and more! It’s going to be a great and exciting event, all for the love Crispus Attucks Park, a completely community-run Park.

This fundraiser supports the upkeep of Crispus Attucks Park – and helps ensure the park remains a vibrant resource for the neighborhood. The park is open to the public, but managed by a nonprofit and supported entirely by private donations and volunteers. It is a gathering place for the community because of the generosity of neighbors like you. We’d love to see you there!

Also we will be doing a pet adoption event with Humane Rescue Alliance!”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
