“Dear PoPville,

Can you help me find a slightly belated missed connection? On Wednesday April 5th around 1:30pm at Bread Furst, a handsome dark-haired guy with some stubble was just trying to buy half a loaf of bread. The bakery doesn’t sell halves, but I offered to buy the other half from him if the bakery cut it. He didn’t have venmo; I didn’t have cash—so he just gave me the half loaf! I wish I’d given him my number and offered to buy him a drink some time!

Thank you,
Short blonde in cycling clothes”

and

“Sunday after Easter brunch at Sequoia my friend and I stopped at Tony and Joe’s.

I bought a drink for a guy named Eddie from Annapolis because he was kind to my friend when she needed a seat to change her shoes, then he bought me one later on. We chatted for quite a bit and he was really funny, but my friend needed to leave and I forget to give him my number before our Uber came. He works in DC, hoping somehow he sees this! Would love to get together to buy the next round if we can connect and he’s interested.”

PoPville is not affiliated with either party, please proceed with any potential connection at your own risk using caution as you would any online encounter. For those curious about past missed connections, many have been made and when possible I’ll try to update when/if more are made. The Fat Pete’s MC was made!
