Calling all D.C. artists!
The Washington Award is eligible to D.C. resident artists working in the fields of visual art, interdisciplinary practice, music, and dance, who prioritize social impact in their practice.
The 2023 Washington Award offers two different prize categories:
- Cash Prize: Four unrestricted grants of $15,000 in each artistic category
- Fillmore Studios Prize: Twelve months of free studio space at The Fillmore School in Georgetown (1,000 sq. ft. private art studios, and 2,000 sq. ft. dance studio. Similar sized spaces could be valued at $25,000 per year to rent)
Applications open until midnight on Sunday, April 30.
