“Dear PoPville,
It’s raining men! It’s actually not, which is why I was particularly excited to notice one today (Wednesday, 1/25) who held my attention. During the early afternoon rain shower, I was walking up 12th Street towards downtown. Near Department of Justice,
I saw a man standing under both a tree and an umbrella. As I waited at the Pennsylvania Avenue intersection for the walk signal to cross, we caught each other’s eye and I assumed we were heading in the same direction. After making it a block, I looked back and realized he hadn’t moved — perhaps he was waiting for a car? Appeared to be tall, mid 30s and wearing a black coat over a suit with a black umbrella. He may not live in DC nor be available, yet hoping the PoPville community pulls through and doesn’t rain on my parade!”
