Well-Paid Maids Surpasses 100 Yelp Reviews. Here’s What They’re Saying

Well-Paid Maids, the only living-wage cleaning company in the District, recently hit a big milestone: 100+ Yelp reviews! And, even better, we have a solid 5-star standing on Yelp.

A huge shoutout to our customers for sharing their experiences with us. Here’s what a few have had to say about their recent home cleanings:

“The cleaning service was excellent. Our cleaner, Andrea, was friendly, efficient and very knowledgeable about the cleaning products. She paid great attention to detail. I have already booked them for another service!”

— Stacey S. of Northwest D.C.

“I scheduled a moving related cleaning with Well-Paid Maids (a standard clean with several add-ons), and I could not have been more pleased! Tati M. did an incredible job — my home was spotless. The fridge looked brand new, and the cabinets and oven have never been cleaner. Tati was also highly responsive and communicative throughout the day. I have no critique whatsoever and will be using Well-Paid Maids and requesting Tati M. in the future!”

— Victoria S. of Northeast D.C.

“We have been using Well-Paid Maids for a few years now and would recommend them to anyone looking for a cleaning service. Our current cleaner is Allison F., and she is so efficient and thoughtful. It’s also important to us that Well-Paid Maids is mission-driven and pays a fair wage for fair work, including benefits.”

— Margaret B. of Silver Spring

The reason we’re able to do such a great job is simple: We take care of our cleaners, who are employees — not contractors. All of our employees are offered a starting wage of $22 an hour, insurance, 24 paid days off per year and more.

“Our company’s mission is what we stand by,” says Lexi Grant, operations manager at Well-Paid Maids. “People deserve their work to be respected and recognized. When that happens, you love what you do, and you create the best results.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
