Love Local – Three Littles edition

Elizabeth, the founder of Three Littles, “We are open Tuesday through Sunday from 11-6 at 1260 4th st NE in the Union Market District.”

“Dear PoPville,

Three Littles is a local children’s toy store that sells well-made children’s toys and a variety of strollers/car seats. My wife and I bought a stroller from them a couple months ago and Elizabeth (the owner) personally assembled the stroller and brought it to us at the hospital,

as I know she has done for other families, and when we were in the shop on Saturday a woman came in to pick up a stroller she purchased. I overheard her thanking Elizabeth for letting her borrow their demo stroller while she was waiting for hers to arrive and without skipping a beat Elizabeth said no problem and offered to assemble to woman’s stroller so she didn’t have to wrestle with her toddler and a huge stroller box. I know this might not seem like a huge deal to some people, but every time we walk into Three Littles we feel so special.

Elizabeth always remembers us and is so kind and engaging with our children and I can’t remember a better customer service experience. I hope that you can spread the word so people support small shops like Three Littles and they can continue to exist for many years to come!”

We’re about a month out from summer. That means you’ve still got time for spring cleaning!

Lexi Grant, an operations manager at Well-Paid Maids, shared her go-to spring cleaning tips with WTOP News. Step one? Declutter. Get rid of items you don’t use, find space for items that need a home and organize those areas.

Then, it’s time to dust. Lexi starts with high-touch surface areas (think: refrigerator, dishwasher, counters, microwave). One area she sees often neglected is the bedroom — and it makes sense. Heavy furniture is difficult to move around, but it’s important to really get in there so dust doesn’t affect your sleep.
