Today’s Rental was chosen for the price and the dog, obviously

This rental is located at Perry Pl NE near 10th St NE. The Craigslist ad says:

“$2,300 / 3br – A great opportunity to rent a rowhome in Brookland (Brookland)

$2300/mo 2bed+den, 2 bath rowhome in Brookland

We’re looking for someone to start a new 12 month lease on our 2bed+den, 2 bath rowhouse in Brookland. Minutes from the metro and right across from Turkey Thicket (tennis, playground, indoor pool, track) this house is settled on a cul-de-sac with great community that we are sad to be leaving.
Rent is $2300/mo and the landlord will consider pets on a case-by-case basis for an extra fee.
There are covered porches in the front and back and raised beds in the back for gardening. We’ve put a decent amount of work into the yard, and the front should have flowers come back in the spring without much work from you! The back is concrete that can be used as a parking space or patio area.
Living room, separate dining, and kitchen on the first floor, with 2 bedrooms+den and a full bath on the second floor. The basement is semi-finished and great for storage or another bedroom or rec room and includes a second bathroom. Laundry is in the basement. Window AC (included – 2 are newer models that we purchased), radiator heat that works well!
Looking for Jan 1 lease, but could be as early as Dec 20.
Landlord lives up the street and is quite responsive.”

Finding a gift for moms can be difficult. Google “Mother’s Day gifts,” and you’ll scroll through endless lists of beauty products, candles and fuzzy robes. Sure, those are sweet, but sometimes it’s fun to surprise loved ones with something a little more, well, practical!

Here’s one idea: Give her a gift certificate for a home cleaning from Well-Paid Maids. It’s the perfect “thank you,” “I love you” or “you’ve got this” for any mom. She can schedule the home cleaning at her convenience and breathe easy knowing she has one less thing to do.

Our cleaners will take care of everything, including vacuuming and mopping as well as cleaning and dusting countertops, tables, mirrors, appliances and more. Sinks, toilets, showers and appliance exteriors also get a good scrub.
