Is Beekeeping Right for Me? Registration for free, online class is now open

Interested in beekeeping and wondering if this hobby is right for you? Join us for this 90-minute class covering the costs, time-commitment, and logistics of keeping bees.

This class is designed for people who are curious about beekeeping but aren’t sure what to expect, but will not cover the specifics of hive management, bee biology, or how to keep bees. You will also learn about the DC Beekeepers Alliance 8-week Beginning Beekeeping course and how to register if you decide that keeping bees is something you want to pursue.

Who should take this class?

a) Anyone curious about beekeeping.
b) Anyone who plans to take the 8-week Beginning Beekeeping Course
(IB4M is a prerequisite for Beginning Beekeeping Course)

Completion of this class (registration required) makes you eligible to register for the DC Beekeepers Alliance (DCBA) 8-week Beginning Beekeeping course.
