Founded in 2019, we are a local (woman and queer owned) design firm that has helped clients in D.C., Maryland and Virginia with full-scale kitchen and bathroom remodels, as well as unique interior design projects. Our new Color Consultation service makes that “final detail” of paint selection an easy, affordable, and enjoyable process.
Whether you choose to meet with us remotely or in-person, you’ll be working one-on-one with a member of our local team of designers. They’ll ask questions, get to know your goals for the space, and hone in on the perfect colors for your personal style. You’ll come away with swatches of your chosen colors and all the information you need to confidently walk into the paint store or hire professional painters.
We created this service based on feedback from clients who felt lost when going with national online-only color services. They felt like the process was rushed, and they were offered generic colors that didn’t work in their spaces or take their style into consideration. They wanted to work with a real creative who thoughtfully considers details like home layout, light levels, and coordination with furniture and artwork. Our design team is made up of professional artists who have decades of experience transforming spaces through paint and texture.

Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!
The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!
What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
