Support La Clinica at the 7th Annual Casino Night Fundraiser

The 7th Annual Casino Night Fundraiser is back on Friday, October 7 to benefit La Clinica!

Come join us for this high energy pop-up game night hosted by Flock DC — a local business who puts justice over profit — that includes grand prizes, food, cocktails, and music and unites our incredible network of businesses, partners, fans, and Washingtonians seeking to make a tangible impact on the health of our community.

There still are too many people in our neighborhoods who face barriers to getting care such as transportation, language access and affordable medicine.

We can all play a part in changing this.

For the past 39 years La Clinica has been a trusted, safe and welcoming space for thousands of essential members of our community. Patients like Brizeida rely on La Clinica to provide quality health care, and to fight for health, justice, and inclusion.

Brizeida came to the U.S. speaking no English. She worked hard, studied and dreamed, but felt increasingly isolated and frustrated. When she needed mental health services and a supportive community, La Clinica del Pueblo was there for her. “La Clinica has played one of the most important roles in my life,” she says.

Building a community where health care is accessible regardless of immigration status, language, gender, age, sexual identity, race, class, or income is only possible with the wide support of our community.

By attending, supporting, and or sponsoring Casino Night you are showing your commitment to building communities where all members can thrive.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
