“Chef Byron Bradley will be serving a 5 course dinner with the option to do either an alcoholic beverage pairing or a non-alcoholic beverage pairing, both curated by Sommelier Erica Christian.”

Check out the menu here.

“Dear PoPville,

I am a local sommelier and the founder of Empowering the Diner, a Black women-led food and beverage experience in which I bring folx together to discuss, learn, and explore their palate and pathways towards seeking and claiming pleasure and knowledge in food and beverage related experiences.

I am reaching out because I’m having this delicious dinner on the 26th with Chef Byron Bradley Jr. who is flying in from New Orleans just for the weekend!

It’s going to be a beautiful exploration of flavors of the African Diaspora and our narratives! I’ll be curating both N/A pairings and alcohol based pairings to make sure everyone can enjoy this experience. The pairings are meant to both elevate and challenge the flavors and histories of the food! I’ll also be curating the music to pair across the dinner as well.

Tickets are only on sale until Friday evening!”
