Jazz is a 2-year-old lab mix, weighing about 68 lbs. He’s our goofy, playful boy and all-around happy dog. He loves to snuggle on the couch, and he becomes very attached to his humans once he gets to know them. Jazz also loves walks, but has some leash reactivity around other dogs. He can be very protective of his family, and will need an experienced owner who is stern, patient and committed to training with him. More info/photos can be found on Petfinder or our Facebook. Anyone interested can fill out an application: https://forms.gle/rxNDjrJKbgyB878KA

Milo is our 6-year-old pit bull mix with a killer smile. He loves tummy rubs, playing fetch, and long walks, and will snuggle all night long with his humans. His previous owners say Milo will do well in a family with children, and he especially enjoys sitting with kids while they read to him. His best move is the sploot and his favorite treats are carrots. Milo loves playing with other dogs but can be dog-selective, and he’s looking for a family who will work with him on his leash reactivity. More info/photos can be found on Petfinder or our Facebook. The Potomac Roasting Company is a local micro-roaster specializing in artisan coffee. We precision roast high-quality beans sourced from small farms in Latin America and Africa that are owned and operated by women. We will make sure that your coffee is roasted the way you want it and delivered fresh.

Our newest coffee comes from Mbozi, Tanzania. We secured a shipment just before this small batch of delicious beans sold out. In Swahili, Usawa means balance and Kahawa means coffee. The beans are grown on small farms that are part of a cooperative promoting gender equity and market access for women. This is a smooth and balanced coffee that is sure to please.

Join local sketch comedy legends (in our own minds) Brick Penguin for an evening of live, dark, rip-roaring sketch comedy. See D.C.’s longest-running sketch comedy group do what they do best, when they’re not performing across the country in places such as the terrifying Philadelphia, the gooey Chicago, the M&M Store-y New York City, and the crunchy Seattle.

Now, our last show may or may not have mentioned Taylor Swift, and we may have gotten into some trouble from confused Swifties who thought they scored a $15 ticket to a Taylor Swift concert. So, to apologize and clear up any confusion, we’ve decided to dedicate another show to her. We promise she might or might not appear this time.
