“Dear PoPville,
I went into the West Elm on 14th Street around 7pm on Saturday night.
You greeted me, and I asked about the Chair-and-a-Half which you said you didn’t have on the floor. I told you I’d likely be back with some measurement questions and went upstairs to look around before returning downstairs with a Cedar Woods candle – which you remarked was one of your favorites when you rang it up. Your manager (I think?) mentioned that if I wanted to sit in the Chair-and-a-Half I’d have to go to Pennsylvania to the outlet. We joked about how it wouldn’t fit in either of our apartments. You were blonde with glasses, a striped shirt, and a ring on your thumb.
I didn’t want to bother you while you were working – and I understand the fine line between being polite in the name of customer service and being yourself – but your energy was absolutely infectious during our brief interaction. Hope the rest of your day was as bright as your energy!”

For those curious about past missed connections, many have been made and when possible I’ll try to update when/if more are made.
