“Serial Arsonist in Chevy Chase”?

“garage – so hot it melted the siding of the house, too.”

Ed. Note: Haven’t seen any arson alerts from DC FEMS or MPD as of 2pm Thursday.

“Dear PoPville,

Over the last several night (since Friday), an arsonist has been setting fires in dumpsters/trash cans in alleys (Conn and Legation/Livingston, behind Stabucks and Parthanon), but last night he/she took a step further and torched a garage.

Pretty scary stuff – hopefully you can share to increase people’s awareness and stay safe. There’s action shots of some of the dumpster fires on twitter, too.”

DC Fire and EMS reported: “Box Alarm: At approximately 12:10 am, #DCsBravest arrived on the scene at the 3800 Block of Morrison Street NW to find smoke and fire showing from a detached garage in the rear. All fire has been extinguished with no extension to other properties and no injuries/displacements.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
