“Dear PoPville,
I was at the bar at Rappahannock at The Wharf on Monday, June 6 trying to enjoy the beautiful weather, my new library book, and some oysters when a drunken guest wouldn’t leave me alone. After about 10 minutes of pestering questions, another patron- who I later learned was named Morgan- stepped up and told the man off, telling him I just wanted to read my book (so true, thank you Morgan)!
Morgan even waited until I closed out to make sure I was able to leave the restaurant safely. We had a brief conversation outside of Rappahannock- his name is Morgan, he lives in Baltimore, and he was there to go to the Sigur Ros show at the Anthem. I was still a little shaken from my encounter with said drunken man and didn’t ask Morgan for his contact information. He really stepped up when I needed him and was very nice to wait and ensure my safety (and bonus- he was super cute, too!). It’s probably a long shot that he would even read this since he lives in Baltimore, but stranger things have happened! If anyone knows Morgan from Baltimore, please let me know!
