Meet new people, try something new, and have a good laugh: Join Washington Improv Theater for a free workshop during our Ward-Wide Tour in May.
WIT is bringing our free Improv for All workshops to every ward of the District this month! These zero-pressure introductory workshops are high-fun, low-stress classes designed to show you how improvisers create spontaneous, off-the-cuff theater. Our enthusiastic and friendly instructors work to make sure everyone is able to participate in a playful and trusting atmosphere.
Check out our full schedule and sign up! Our partner venues include Story District, Project Create, and multiple branches of the DC Public Library. Accessibility and COVID safety protocols vary by venue.
Washington Improv Theater is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to sharing the creative, collaborative power of improv in D.C. We are guided by the belief that improv is for everyone.
And don’t forget:
- You can sign up for a full eight-week Level 1 class today! No experience necessary.
- WIT has live shows for the next two weekends at Source (14th and T NW). Check out an improvised musical and more!
- Want to be a hero at your office? Bring an improv training to your workplace with WIT@Work.
