I think it’s important for folks to know and unsure if you are hearing anything regarding Paxlovid and COVID. Basically tested positive almost two weeks ago and was able to get on Paxlovid, after three days of minor symptoms I was fine. Finished my dosage 5 days ago. Had 4 negative tests in a row. Woke up this morning with sinus infection like symptoms, did another test and immediately went positive.
Hearing other stories about this, but CDC guidance doesn’t really have anything about this. I’m trying hard to follow it, and not get others sick. But this seems to be a reality. The drug seems to work great, I mean it helped while I took it! – but it’s possible it could also come back after the dosage (many saying 5 days post). Just FYI.
I’m following my doc/employer guidance. Basically restarting the isolation/mask period.”
