Beloved Adams Morgan Movie Night Returns with “The Road Less Traveled” Theme

The Adams Morgan Partnership Business Improvement District (BID) is excited to announce the return of the FREE community event, Adams Morgan Movie Nights!

Bring a blanket and pick-up dinner from a neighborhood restaurant to enjoy during the film. Join us about 30 minutes after sunset at the Marie Reed Recreation Center’s soccer field at 18th and California Streets, NW.

As we welcome summer to D.C. and the adventures that come with it, this year’s theme is “The Road Less Traveled.” Focused stories that speak to personal identities, exploration, and epic quests!

Schedule:

  • May 24: The Princess Bride
  • May 31: Monty Python and the Holy Grail
  • June 7: Queen of the Capital
  • June 14: Keanu
  • June 21: Encanto

Gifted Curators will be popping hot & fresh popcorn and Insomnia Cookies is generously providing individually-wrapped, hot-out-of-the-oven, cookies on a first-come-first-serve basis. Arrive early to set up your space on the field and get your cookie!

June 28 is being held as a rain date if one of the showings is canceled due to inclement weather. Please note that alcohol and pets are not permitted on the field.

Visit admodc.org/movies and follow the Adams Morgan Partnership BID on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for more details!

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
