“Silver Mirror Facial Bar to bring world-class skincare to Navy Yard this summer”

1355 3rd Street, SE

From a press release:

“Silver Mirror Facial Bar is bringing glowing skin to Navy Yard with the launch of its second D.C. location this summer near the Yards, at 1355 3rd Street SE.

“D.C. was the first market we launched outside of our flagship in New York,” says Silver Mirror CEO Matt Maroone. “From the first day we opened in July 2019, we were overwhelmed by the number of D.C. guests seeking premium skincare options. Healthy skin is so important to Washingtonians, and our second DC location will allow us to continue to bring the best results to all our communities and loyal fans.”

Led by Director of Operations Rachael Gallo, Silver Mirror’s team of expert estheticians will help guests determine and maintain their skincare goals.

The facial bar offers a spectrum of luxury maintenance and targeted treatment services, including the spa’s signature 30- and 50-minute facials as well as add-ons, such as dermaplaning, hydradermabrasion, decompression massages, LED therapy and chemical peels. To continue an at-home maintenance program, Silver Mirror also carries an extensive collection of the best medical-grade skincare and beauty products on the market today, including iS Clinical, Skinceuticals, Revision, Sanitas, Dr. Dennis Gross and Supergoop! among others.

Silver Mirror’s new 1,600-square-foot Navy Yard space will feature the same warm, contemporary and immaculate atmosphere established at the brand’s Dupont location. Heitler Houstoun Architects, which has designed every Drybar location, Gypsy Kitchen Atlanta, the W Hotel Las Vegas and more, has created an inviting space complete with industry-leading technologies to help guests relax, forget the stresses of the day and treat themselves. The spa boasts seven semi-private facial stations, each smartly designed to ensure comfort and cleanliness.

Silver Mirror is as passionate about healthy skin as it is about giving back, with a focus on education, healthcare, social justice and women’s economic-development opportunities. The company partners with nonprofits to donate a portion of Seasonal Facial proceeds to the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation, NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Women’s World Banking, City Year and Experience Camp.

Silver Mirror Navy Yard will be open daily, from 8 am-9 pm Monday through Friday, 9 am-7 pm Saturday, and 10 am-6 pm Sunday.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
