Prevent Cancer Health Fair and 5k Walk/Run Returns In Person

Ready to step into spring? The 13th annual Prevent Cancer Health Fair and 5k Walk/Run will make its return in person to Nationals Park in the beautiful Capitol Riverfront neighborhood on Sunday, March 13.

We’ve set out to raise $200,000 to support community programs nationwide that provide free screenings and health education to medically underserved communities. With your help, we can dare to imagine a world where no one dies of cancer.

All kids 12 and under are FREE, so bring your entire family — dogs, too — for a day of exercise, education and fun. After getting in your morning exercise at the 5k, stop by the health fair for free health and wellness screenings, kids activities and more. Unable to make it in person? You can still register and participate virtually!

Use code POP22 and save $5 on either type of registration.

This annual event is hosted by the Prevent Cancer Foundation®, one of the nation’s leading voluntary health organizations and the only U.S. nonprofit organization solely focused on cancer prevention and early detection.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
