Missed Connections – Blaguard on Valentine’s Day and The Apollo (H St) lobby, 2nd floor

Missed connection at Blaguard on Valentine’s Day. We had a three-way conversation with the bartender about his dog. I was at the end of the bar wearing a gray sweater and sporting what my mom very recently referred to as a “cute Beatles mop top if you would just lose the ugly mustache and beard”.

We were sitting across from each other for about an hour or so on Friday (2/11) on the 2nd floor of the Apollo lobby on H St. When I showed up, you were on the phone giving your friend solid dating advice about some guy who just didn’t seem into her. (Yes, I was definitely eavesdropping.) You were wearing red, and me a black shirt. We exchanged a couple glances, including right when you were leaving and looked up to me from the 1st floor. I’d love to buy you a coffee or drink. (You were clearly gorgeous, and seemed really well-adjusted from your call…)”
