“Dear PoPville,
I was at the Safeway in Adams Morgan on Saturday morning (2/12) getting doughnuts for a party when a guy stopped by me and mentioned he didn’t realize Safeway made fresh bagels. We started talking about baked goods and joked about whether or not he should get one (he ended up grabbing a bagel and a doughnut) and we said bye to each other.
When I was heading to the cashier I saw him at the front of the store look back and we made eye contact twice before he waved to me as he left. He was a tall Asian guy with short dark hair, in work out clothes, and he had really nice brown eyes.
I felt too awkward to go find him outside, but I wish I had gotten to talk to him a little more- and maybe grab coffee with him sometime :)
