King Street Oyster Bar, the award-winning oyster bar that captured hearts across the DMV for its coastal vibes and infamous happy hours, is opening a fifth location at City Ridge in Fall 2022. This trendy addition to the King Street fleet will feature 4,800-SF of fresh LA aesthetic with a neutral white-beige palette designed by Georgetown architect firm //3877. King Street will also boast:

An indoor-outdoor bar and coverage patio with TV’s, fans and heaters perfect for year-round group dining and events;

Top-quality seafood and 10+ varieties of raw oysters sourced coast-to-coast;

A custom City Ridge specialty cocktail menu curated by a resident mixologist;

Curated social events on City Ridge’s Great Lawn, including oyster parties and food trucks like Lombardo’s Detroit-style pizza truck.

Also confirming that Tatte Bakery & Cafe will be joining the neighborhood this year. Tatte announced plans to open a 3,100-SF location this summer, its sixth in metro DC. Cohesive with Tatte’s existing locations, the totally IG-worthy bakery will:

Feature cozy cafe dining, a pastry counter and a barista bar;

Offer the ‘Tatte All Day’ and weekend brunch menus reflect Mediterranean inspo, inclusive of salads, sandwiches and the bakery’s signature Shakshuka;

Have a special gluten-friendly menu offering elevated breakfast classics.”
