Your Afternoon Animal Fix – AdoPtville

If you have any animal/pet photos you’d like to share for the regular fix please send an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and your neighborhood. AdoPtville is run by a volunteer who compiles these pets weekly from local shelters.

Meet Lobo! This handsome 5 y/o, 55 lb mixed breed has golden eyes and a golden heart to match! He loves his humans and always does his best to make them happy. Lobo can’t get enough of going on walkies and showing off his skills: sit, down, touch and paw! This smart boy has learned new words in just 1-2 sessions! He is also a fan of his routine and will go to the door at walk time. Lobo looks to his human for leadership, even allowing his foster to fish things like chicken bones out of his mouth when he picks them up off the street. Lobo is an energetic dog who loves to play hard for a bit then spend the rest of his time snuggled up to his human. Want to make Lobo happy? Apply today to adopt him here.

Unconditional love wanted! Vinny is a shy orange chonk in need of a quiet forever home where his new parent(s) will give him time to adjust to a new life. This 8 y/o, DSH kitty has had a rough time recently; rescue, travel, neutering, and dental extractions have all left him a bit grumpy and in need of some quiet time. He needs a sense of comfort to draw out his sweet side, but he already happily accepts scratches to his ears, so you know a sweetie is just below the surface! Vinny is a good eater, enjoying a “soup” of canned food diluted in water, and he has excellent litter box manners. All Vinny really needs is someone patient with him so he can bloom into the mellow companion and friend he is destined to be. Apply today to meet him here!

Meet Miss Edna, a lovely little lady with dainty features – tiny ears and tiny feet – and an out of this world hairdo! (She can even get this look without the use of hairspray!) She came from a neglect case and was removed from her home along with 14 other rabbits. Lucky for her she ended up in one of our foster homes and is now looking for her furever home.

She has a calm, tolerant demeanor which makes her a pleasant companion but her ruby eyes and her eccentric coif can limit her sight and make her wary of new environments. Given time to explore and investigate, she will make herself at home in your house and in your heart. If you would like to show Edna that humans are kind and add her to your family let us know. To adopt Edna, please fill out an application here!

Unlike our competitors, Well-Paid Maids doesn’t clean your home with harsh chemicals. Instead, we handpick cleaning products rated “safest” by the Environmental Working Group, the leading rating organization regarding product safety.

The reason is threefold.

First, using safe cleaning products ensures toxic chemicals won’t leak into waterways or harm wildlife if disposed of improperly.
