“The Fourth District is currently (7:35pm) investigating a shooting that occurred in the 5400 block of Georgia Ave NW. The victim sustained a gunshot wound to the lower body and was transported to an area hospital. The 5400-5500 block of Georgia Ave NW will be temporarily closed while MPD investigates.

“On 1/14/22 at approximately 1:40am, 4D Units responded for the shooting in the 600 block of Quackenbos Street, NW.
The victim is an adult who was shot in the lower body and is being treated at an area hospital. The 600 and 700 blocks of Quackenbos Streets, NW are temporarily closed while we investigate this offense.
