Missed Connections – Hook Hall Wine Festival! and Hiking at Annapolis Rock

“Dear PoPville,

Missed connection! I met a guy hiking with his dad at Annapolis Rock in Maryland last Sunday afternoon (January 23rd). He was on the taller side, with reddish/brown hair and beard. He mentioned he lives in Capitol Hill and he took some great photos of my friend and me in front of the view. I was the Asian woman wearing a tan furry jacket and a grey hat with a yellow pom-pom. He and his dad very kindly offered to drive us back to our car since it was getting late and the trail was iced over. I probably should’ve taken them up on their offer and/or asked for his number but, after two years of the pandemic, I don’t remember how to meet people in the wild (literally) anymore! Would be great to grab coffee sometime.”

“Not sure if this counts as a missed connection but I (sorta) met a very cute guy at Hook Hall wine festival last Saturday.

He’s tall, blonde, and was wearing a brown hoodie. He spoke to my friends for a bit after they helped a girl who had gotten sick, and then very kindly tipped my friend’s band, but I didn’t work up the courage to talk to him myself until his group was on their way out the door. I’m the brunette that was wearing a grey sweater/black skirt and holding a Shiba Inu. Would love to get a second chance to introduce myself!”

Ed. Note: If this is you, please email [email protected] so I can put you in touch with OP. PoPville is not affiliated with either party, please proceed with any potential connection at your own risk using caution as you would any online encounter. For those curious about past missed connections, many have been made and when possible I’ll try to update when/if more are made.
