From MPD: “MPD members are supporting DCFEMS and Washington Gas in the area of 3rd and G Streets NW due to a gas leak.
Heavy machinery is being used to access the gas pipe and stop the leak. There are road closures in the area that may last for several hours. Motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians are asked to avoid the area of the closures.”
