“Washington National Cathedral will toll its funeral bell 800 times today at 5 p.m. ET, in memory of the 800,000 Americans who have died of COVID-19. The tolling will take more than an hour.
This gesture cannot replace the lives lost, but we hope it will help each American mourn the toll of this pandemic.
