December 15th there were 508 new positive coronavirus (COVID-19) cases.
From the Mayor’s Office:
“The District’s reported data for December 16, 2021 includes 844 new positive coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, bringing the District’s overall positive case total to 71,219.
The District reported that two additional residents lost their lives due to COVID-19.
· 68-year-old female
· 62-year-old female
Tragically, 1,206 District residents have lost their lives due to COVID-19.
