Thanks to NH for sending last night: “The smith on U street closing!! They just found out today… I had a reservation there Saturday and they called me today to say they’re closing for good!”
I called to confirm and was told that today is indeed their last day,
they should be open until around 9:30pm tonight. Updates when we learn what becomes of the space. The Smith opened this location in May 2018.
