Wednesday, late afternoon, he (in a beige colored beanie and black jacket?) was crossing (but more like J walking…) the street in front of Le Diplomate with a friend. I, pulling up to the red light in my car, late for my yoga class and flustered wearing a red zip up, looked up and caught his gaze as he tried to determine if I was going to stop and let them cross or not.
He then smiled at me as I let them pass, and continued to smile and stare back at me through my window until I couldn’t help but wave and smile back. Didn’t hurt that he had dark brown eyes and great looking teeth…
