I got an eSummons from “[email protected]” last night at approx. 8PM. It went to my spam folder, which I routinely check, so this post is mostly to raise awareness for others. Apparently a mailed summons will also follow. I don’t doubt it’s legit, but I have never gotten an summons via email before
and it seems as if DC calls me regularly the moment I am eligible ( and I love jury duty so much so I am not complaining!). Curious if anyone else has received an eSummons? Is this legit? I can;t even begin to fathom any kind of scam via a jury summons, but you never know.”
