On Sunday, November 28th, UMR will be holding our Winter Care Kit packaging event on the National Mall!
All care kits will be donated to struggling families in the DMV area, many of them resettled Afghans.
We were selected by football player for the WFT Charles Leno’s organization, “Beyond the Entertainer,” as a nonprofit for their annual Leno Claus campaign. He and his wife may be making an appearance at the event!
Details: We are meeting at Madison Drive NW in between 12th and 9th Street (near the Smithsonian Natural Museum of history) at 11AM.“
