Ed. Note: If either of these are you, please email [email protected] so I can put you in touch with OP. PoPville is not affiliated with either party, please proceed with any potential connection at your own risk using caution as you would any online encounter. For those curious about past missed connections, some have been made and when possible I’ll try to update when/if more are made.

“Dear PoPville,

I wanted to reach out about a possible missed connection this morning in the Dupont metro platform. We were sitting on opposite platforms facing each other this morning at around 8am or 8:15 am.

He was wearing a Navy shirt and Khakis. I was in running clothes, a light green technical top on the platform direction to Shady Grove!”

“Dear Popville,

On Thursday, August 5 at around 9:15 AM I was getting coffee at Wydown on H st. Exchanged a few glasses with an incredibly cute woman in a white dress with a black backpack. I think she got a matcha. I was the taller guy in shorts and a t-shirt and a black nike hat. I was too pre-coffee to think of anything to say.

Pretty matcha lady, if you read this and are interested, I would love to buy you your next coffee!”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
