DC Open House List for This Weekend

Welp, that decent 80-degree weather dissipated quickly, and we’re now back into the sweltering D.C. summer heat. Despite the temperature, there are still nearly 250 open houses scheduled across the District (most of them with air conditioning). Check out our favorites below and to see the full Open House List, click here.

  • 2337 Champlain Street NW #PH406 — $730,000 — Adams Morgan
    Open Sat. 12-3 p.m. — Felicia Meier
“Wake up to that iconic VIEW of the Washington Monument or open the sliding door to see it from your private living room balcony. Enter this 2 BD/2 BA spacious and bright home from its long foyer with a large coat closet — no doors opening right into the living space! The 9-foot ceilings and large windows offer an open and airy ambiance. The kitchen has a surprising amount of counter space, including an island that’s big enough to allow food prep and seating without feeling cramped. Plus there’s gas cooking to satisfy the inner chef. Appliances are all stainless steel. The two bedrooms are full size; one has a very large walk-in closet. In addition, a full-size stacked washer/dryer in the unit means you can do laundry whenever you’d like. A separately deeded GARAGE PARKING space conveys with this unit. There is bike storage space in the basement. Pets are welcome in this 40-unit boutique building, and wait until you see the pristine hallways and common areas thoughtfully decorated with artwork. And last but not least — QUIET LOCATION in Adams Morgan — yet very close to tons — Harris Teeter, shops, bars, restaurants, VIDA Fitness with rooftop pool and bar, Mint gym, Crossfit DC, The Line Hotel, tennis courts, soccer field, area parks and major bus lines. Three Metro stations within a mile. Come check it out!”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
